Business Operational Efficiency Advising (we like to call these Company Journeys) focuses on improving how a business runs day-to-day. It involves working with a company's leaders and workforce teams to evaluate, reorganize, streamline, or strengthen internal processes making for better workflows and communications.

What is Career Coaching?
- Ideal For: Employees, job seekers, or professionals looking for specific career advancement, to transition roles or industries, or work on professional development
- Focus: Skills development, problem-solving, and measurable progress through guided conversations and strategic support to achieve specific goals
- Approach: Uses structured methods, assessments, goal-setting techniques, and development tools to help you set your own clear, measurable objectives and facilitates your journey to success
- Feedback: Provides targeted feedback to support progress at regular intervals
- Expertise: Professional with training in coaching, career development, performance improvement, and interviewing
- Timeframe: Short-term, structured relationship set toward defined goals
- Examples of Assistance: You want to grow into the next phase of your career but aren't sure how to get there; you're on a PIP but your employer isn't giving you much guidance, you want to impress them, so what should you be doing since they aren't saying; you have a solid career history but don't know how to articulate that to be recognized by your peers as an expert
What is Professional Mentoring?
- Ideal For: Entrepreneurs or professionals looking to foster broader professional development, leadership skills, or dealing with leadership or business challenges
- Focus: Supports overall career development and long-term growth
- Approach: Uses goal and development tools, related experiences, industry-specific insights, and strategic advice for discussion and guidance
- Feedback: Offers advice and wisdom related to the big-picture; may offer more specific guidance but it is up to the mentee to determine implementation
- Expertise: Experienced mentor with relatable experience in the mentee’s area of focus and leadership coaching
- Timeframe: Typically longer-term, though short-term relationships do see benefits
- Examples of Assistance: Struggling to have your voice heard on a male-dominated board; your boss is a narcissist and your not sure how to navigate when the deck is always stacked; your company is growing but operations are a nightmare and your not sure how to untangle it all; your highest performer is also the most toxic, how can you keep profits and moral up
What Are COmpany Journeys with Business Operational Efficiency Advising?
- Ideal For: Businesses serious about reevaluating their current processes and structure to gain effectiveness and efficiencies through a stronger foundation rather than more shortcuts; who want to support their teams during this change management to foster a positive company culture
- Focus: Process improvement and implementation support
- Approach: Understanding/establish company goals and then analyzing and refining how work gets done cross-departmentally to support achieving these
- Feedback: Works with teams to recommend workflows and structures that would remove bottlenecks, reduce waste, and increase productivity; can support leaders and teams through implementation by providing accountability and advice along the way.
- Expertise: Experienced advisor(s) who have assisted organizations through process organizational assessments and process improvements in hands-on capacities and are able to advise on effective methodologies
- Timeframe: Based on business needs but typically 6-18 months of consulting is required for full change management
- Examples of Assistance: Your business looks great from the outside, but behind the scenes you're barley getting it done on a wing and prayer; company culture sucks and you're not sure why; you've been getting it done great for years, but you know that if certain people were to win the lottery, no would would be able to find anything; you know its time to really start growing, but the current structure is built on match sticks or non-existent
